Data - Functional Consultant - PP/QM

We are seeking a Data - Functional Consultant - PP/QM for a contract opportunity with a large GCC enterprise based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for a mid-level ERP professional with strong functional expertise in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM), and a proven ability to support business-critical transformation initiatives. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure ERP processes and master data structures align with operational and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will join a high-profile enterprise environment known for complex operations, structured governance, and multi-stakeholder decision-making. You will contribute to ongoing ERP enhancement, process standardization, and data quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality-related functions. The role requires someone who can bridge business and technical teams, translate operational needs into functional specifications, and support sustainable process optimization. Key responsibilities include requirement gathering, solution design validation, master data and transactional process alignment, testing support, issue resolution, user training, and post-deployment functional support across PP/QM streams. You will also assist with integration touchpoints, documentation, and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption across the organization. • 4-7 years of ERP functional consulting experience with strong hands-on expertise in PP/QM processes and data structures • Proven experience supporting at least one end-to-end ERP implementation, rollout, or major enhancement project in manufacturing or quality-led environments • Strong understanding of production planning, shop floor execution, quality inspection processes, master data governance, and cross-functional integration points • Relevant ERP certification in SAP PP, SAP QM, or equivalent ERP functional certification is highly preferred • Experience in requirement gathering, functional specifications, SIT/UAT support, defect resolution, user training, and go-live/post-go-live support • Ability to work effectively within large GCC enterprise environments, managing multiple stakeholders with professionalism, structure, and cultural awareness • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical functional solutions • Willingness to work on a contract assignment in Abu Dhabi and adapt to fast-paced project priorities and governance standards
