TalentIQ ("TalentIQ", "we", "our", "us") is a specialist ERP staffing and talent consultancy operating across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data when you visit www.talentiq.me, apply for a role, engage us as a client, or otherwise interact with our services.

1. Who we are

TalentIQ is registered at SPC Free Zone, Sharjah Publishing City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy enquiry, contact us at resumes@talentiq.me.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal data only where it is necessary to provide our services. This includes:

  • Candidate data — name, contact details, CV/resume, work history, qualifications, certifications, salary expectations, work-authorisation status, and notes from our consultants' conversations with you.
  • Client data — names, business contact details, and role-related information of hiring managers and stakeholders we engage with.
  • Website data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and basic analytics required to operate the site securely.
  • Application data — when you apply for a role, the information you submit through our application form, including any uploaded resume.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Match candidates to suitable roles with our client employers in the GCC.
  • Communicate with you about opportunities, applications, or active engagements.
  • Conduct reference, qualification, and right-to-work verification where appropriate.
  • Administer client mandates, contracts, and invoicing.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our website and systems.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations in the jurisdictions we operate in.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of (a) your consent — for example, when you submit a CV; (b) the performance of a contract — for example, when delivering a staffing mandate; (c) our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment business; and (d) compliance with applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

5. Sharing your data

We share candidate information with prospective employer clients only when there is a credible role and only with the candidate's awareness. We may also share data with trusted service providers (cloud hosting, email, background-check vendors) acting under contract on our behalf, and with regulators or law enforcement where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Because we operate across the GCC and work with multinational clients, your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where we transfer data internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards in line with the UAE PDPL and, where applicable, GDPR.

7. Data retention

We keep candidate data for as long as it remains relevant to our search work, and in any case no longer than required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9). Client and contractual records are retained for the duration required by tax and commercial law in the relevant jurisdiction.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected individuals and regulators of any material breach in line with applicable law.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Withdraw consent for further processing.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Request a portable copy of the data you have provided.

Our website uses a minimal set of strictly-necessary cookies to operate the site and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may then be unavailable.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated to you directly where appropriate.
