Our client, a large GCC enterprise based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Mid-Level SAP ABAP Consultant to join their contract team and support critical business systems across a complex enterprise landscape. This role is ideal for a technically strong ABAP professional who enjoys working in structured, high-impact environments and contributing to business-critical SAP development initiatives within a fast-paced regional organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP ABAP objects across core modules, ensuring scalable and high-quality technical solutions aligned with business and functional requirements. You will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams to deliver reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows, while supporting ongoing optimization and system improvements. Experience in troubleshooting production issues, performance tuning, and maintaining development standards will be highly valued. • 3-5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in enterprise environments, preferably within large organizations • Strong expertise in ABAP programming including reports, ALV, BDC, BAPI, user exits, enhancements, Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms • Proven experience supporting at least one full SAP implementation, rollout, or major enhancement project • Familiarity with SAP integration concepts, interfaces, data migration support, and performance tuning of custom developments • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline • SAP technical certification in ABAP or relevant SAP development credential is strongly preferred • Ability to work effectively with functional consultants and business users in a large GCC enterprise setting, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Professional, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach with the cultural awareness, teamwork, and delivery focus expected in UAE/GCC corporate environments
