About the Role
Background & Context
The SAP EHS Solution has been successfully deployed across Six EDGE Entities (HALCON, NIMR, ADASI, AL TARIQ, ADVANCED CONCEPTS & REMAYA) using an EDGE Standardized Global Template.
Subsequent rollout to additional entities (EPI, LAHAB & AL TAIF) introduced additional configurations, resulting in an evolved and more robust Global Template.
Retrofit Rollout Objective
Execute a full-scale retrofit rollout across the six existing entities to:
Align all entities with the latest Global Template enhancements
Ensure standardization, compliance, and process harmonization
Accommodate approved incremental business requirements, governed by the DT Team Lead
Functional Scope
Incident Management (Incidents, Near Miss & Safety Observations)
Risk Assessment (Job Safety Analysis, Health Assessments, Hazard Management)
Chemical / Substance Approval
Technical Scope
No major redesign or high-complexity development, below minor updates to existing WRICEF objects:
Branding updates (e.g., logos)
Limited field-level changes (additions/removals)
Existing WRICEFs: Incident Management Report, Risk Assessment Summary Report, Incident Preliminary Report, Injury Illness Report
Data Migration Scope
No migration of historical incident data, in line with organizational policy
Integration Scope
Standard integration with:
SAP PM
SAP HR
No other third-party integrations within scope
Testing Scope
Testing aligned with AdvantEdge Scenario Framework
Inclusion of business-specific scenarios identified and approved by Edge DT during workshops (if any)
Separate SIT and UAT cycles per entity to ensure tailored validation
Security and Roles Management
Leverage existing master roles from prior implementations (EPI, LAHAB & AL TAIF)
Deploy Derived Roles aligned with the updated template
Introduce New Roles only upon approval by Edge DT Lead
Workshop Considerations
Key workshops (such as KDS & UAT), along with SIT and UAT test scripts and supporting documentation, will be executed and organized independently for each cluster of entity within scope.
Cluster 1: NIMR, ADASI, REMAYA
Cluster 2: HALCON, AL TARIQ, ADVANCED CONCEPTS
Requirements
• Mid-level experience supporting or implementing SAP MES solutions within manufacturing or industrial enterprise environments
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP MES processes, production execution, shop floor integration, and manufacturing operations support
• Experience integrating SAP MES with core SAP ERP modules such as PP, QM, MM, or related production and supply chain functions
• Proven involvement in at least one end-to-end SAP MES implementation, rollout, enhancement, or major support engagement
• SAP-related certification in a relevant SAP manufacturing, supply chain, or ERP discipline is strongly preferred
• Strong capability in troubleshooting, system configuration support, testing, documentation, and end-user training within enterprise ERP settings
• Experience working with large GCC enterprises or similarly complex organizations, with strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Professional, adaptable, and service-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in contract roles, structured environments, and multicultural teams
