We are seeking a Lead / Principal SAP PM Consultant for a contract opportunity with a major enterprise client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is suited to a senior professional who can provide functional leadership across SAP Plant Maintenance, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and delivery partners to drive operational reliability, asset performance, and maintenance process excellence. The successful candidate will bring deep domain expertise and a strong track record of leading complex SAP PM initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments. The consultant will play a key role in shaping and optimizing end-to-end maintenance processes, ensuring SAP PM solutions align with business objectives, compliance standards, and broader ERP integration requirements. Key responsibilities include leading SAP PM design and solution validation workshops, overseeing configuration and process harmonization, supporting integrations with adjacent SAP modules, and guiding testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities. The role also requires advising business leaders on best practices in preventive maintenance, work order management, notifications, asset history, and reporting. • Lead / Principal-level experience delivering SAP PM solutions within large enterprise or asset-intensive environments • Proven end-to-end SAP PM implementation and transformation experience, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare • Strong expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance processes such as preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, work orders, notifications, functional locations, equipment, and asset history • Experience integrating SAP PM with related modules such as MM, WM/EWM, PP, PS, and FI/CO within enterprise ERP landscapes • SAP certification in Plant Maintenance or a closely related SAP functional certification is strongly preferred • Demonstrated capability to lead business workshops, manage senior stakeholders, and translate operational requirements into scalable SAP PM solutions • Prior experience working with large GCC enterprises or regional transformation programs, with strong awareness of governance, cultural sensitivity, and executive communication expectations • Excellent consulting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and drive delivery in a contract-based engagement
