About the Role
We are seeking a senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join a large enterprise in Saudi Arabia on a contract basis. Minimum 7-9 years of experience required.
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, including senior-level ownership of enterprise Oracle environments
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance tuning
• Proven experience supporting Oracle databases for large ERP or mission-critical enterprise application environments
• Demonstrated implementation and support experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN
• Oracle certification preferred, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
• Experience with database migrations, refreshes, cloning, capacity planning, and environment standardization across production and non-production landscapes
• Strong understanding of database security, access control, auditing, and compliance requirements within large regulated enterprise settings
• Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in large GCC enterprise environments
