SAP ABAP

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP professional for a contract opportunity with a large enterprise client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for a mid-level consultant who brings strong technical development capabilities across the SAP ABAP landscape and is comfortable supporting complex enterprise environments. You will join a high-performing team delivering critical ERP enhancements, integrations, and support within a mature, large-scale GCC business setting. Working within a structured enterprise environment, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows in line with business and technical requirements. The role will involve close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project teams to translate process needs into reliable technical solutions while ensuring compliance with governance, quality, and performance standards. This opportunity offers exposure to a large GCC enterprise landscape where SAP plays a central role in operational and strategic transformation. You will contribute to ongoing implementation and enhancement initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, and support integration across modules and third-party systems. • 3-6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in enterprise ERP environments • Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, reports, enhancements, user exits, BADI, smart forms, Adobe forms, and interfaces • Proven experience supporting at least one full SAP implementation, rollout, or major enhancement project • Familiarity with integrations involving IDocs, RFC, BAPI, web services, and performance tuning in SAP environments • SAP development-related certification or relevant SAP training credentials preferred • Ability to work closely with SAP functional teams across modules such as FI, MM, SD, HCM, or PM • Experience working within large GCC enterprise organizations, with strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills • Professional, adaptable, and delivery-focused, with the ability to work effectively in contract roles and multicultural teams
