SAP MM

We are seeking a Senior SAP MM professional for a contract opportunity with a large GCC enterprise based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who brings strong functional expertise in SAP Materials Management and a proven ability to support complex procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations within enterprise-scale environments. As part of a mature ERP environment, you will play a key role in ensuring SAP MM solutions are aligned with business needs, compliant with internal controls, and integrated effectively with related SAP modules such as SD, FI, and WM. Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, configuring SAP MM processes, supporting enhancements, resolving production issues, and participating in testing, documentation, and user training. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, vendor and procurement workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure stable and efficient system performance. • 7+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience, including senior-level functional consulting in large enterprise environments • Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP MM implementations, including configuration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support • Strong expertise in procurement, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory management, valuation, and invoice verification processes • Experience integrating SAP MM with related modules such as SAP SD, FI, WM/EWM, and Ariba or SRM where applicable • SAP certification in Materials Management or a relevant SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement credential is strongly preferred • Demonstrated ability to manage business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and coordinate effectively with technical and ABAP teams • Prior experience working with GCC-based enterprises, with strong stakeholder communication skills, professionalism, and cultural awareness • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, user training, and cross-functional collaboration skills in structured, governance-driven environments
