About the Role
We are seeking a Senior SAP MM Consultant to join a large GCC enterprise in Abu Dhabi on a contract basis. The client is a well-established regional organization with mature ERP operations and ongoing transformation priorities across supply chain, procurement, and inventory management. As part of a broader SAP ecosystem, the SAP MM Consultant will play a key role in supporting business continuity, optimizing existing processes, and driving enhancements aligned with operational and compliance requirements typical of large GCC enterprises.
Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, configuring and supporting SAP MM processes, resolving functional issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including SAP FI, SD, WM, and project stakeholders. The consultant will support end-to-end process improvements across purchasing, inventory management, material master, valuation, and invoice verification, while ensuring documentation, testing, and user support are delivered to a high standard.

Requirements
• 7+ years of hands-on SAP MM consulting experience, including senior-level functional ownership in enterprise environments
• SAP certification in Materials Management or related SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement credentials strongly preferred
• Proven experience delivering at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP MM implementations, upgrades, or major rollout projects
• Strong expertise in purchasing, inventory management, material master, valuation, invoice verification, and integration with SAP FI, SD, and WM/EWM
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, UAT support, end-user training, and post-go-live support
• Prior exposure to large GCC enterprise environments, with understanding of regional procurement governance, compliance, and stakeholder management expectations
• Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage business users, procurement teams, IT leadership, and external vendors effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and adaptability, with the ability to work successfully in multicultural, fast-paced, and matrixed contract engagements
