We are hiring a Mid-Level SAP ABAP professional for a contract opportunity with a large GCC enterprise based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for a technically strong consultant who enjoys working in complex SAP environments and contributing to enterprise-scale initiatives. You will join a high-performing team supporting critical business systems, with exposure to structured delivery standards, regional business processes, and stakeholders across multiple functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP ABAP objects across the client’s ERP landscape. You will work on reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, data handling, and performance optimization, while ensuring developments align with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting integrations, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating closely with functional consultants and business users. • 4-7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in enterprise ERP environments • Strong expertise in ABAP programming including reports, enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, forms, interfaces, conversions, and performance tuning • Proven experience supporting at least one full SAP implementation, rollout, or major enhancement project • Familiarity with SAP integration scenarios and working effectively with functional teams across finance, procurement, supply chain, or HR domains • SAP certification in ABAP development or a relevant SAP technical certification is strongly preferred • Experience preparing technical specifications, unit testing, code reviews, documentation, and production support deliverables • Strong stakeholder communication skills with the professionalism to operate successfully in a large GCC enterprise environment • Ability to work in a contract role in Abu Dhabi, manage priorities independently, and deliver high-quality outcomes within defined timelines
