SAP Functional Consultant - GTS

We are hiring a Junior SAP Functional Consultant - GTS for a contract opportunity with a large enterprise client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for an early-career SAP professional looking to build hands-on experience within a complex, high-visibility GCC environment. You will support the delivery and enhancement of SAP GTS solutions that enable compliant, efficient international trade processes across a large-scale business landscape. Working within a structured enterprise program, you will assist in functional analysis, requirement gathering, solution configuration, testing, documentation, and end-user support related to SAP GTS. The role will involve close coordination with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and technical consultants to help ensure trade compliance, customs, and cross-border process requirements are accurately translated into system capabilities. You will also contribute to issue resolution, data validation, and change support across project and BAU activities. • 1-3 years of SAP functional consulting experience, with exposure to SAP GTS in support, rollout, or implementation environments • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline • SAP certification in a relevant SAP functional area; SAP GTS certification or trade compliance training is strongly preferred • Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, configuration support, SIT/UAT testing, and end-user issue resolution • Understanding of SAP GTS processes such as compliance management, customs management, sanctioned party screening, or trade preference is preferred • Experience working on at least one SAP implementation, enhancement, or support project within a structured enterprise environment • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the professionalism to work effectively in a large GCC enterprise setting • High attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage priorities in a contract role within a fast-paced delivery team
