About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant for a contract opportunity with a large enterprise client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is suited to a seasoned SAP finance professional who brings deep functional expertise across Financial Accounting and Controlling, coupled with the ability to operate effectively within complex, multi-entity enterprise environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting critical finance transformation and ERP optimization initiatives. Working within a major GCC organization, you will engage with senior business and IT stakeholders to align SAP FICO capabilities with enterprise finance processes, governance standards, and reporting needs. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering robust, scalable solutions that support operational excellence, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading SAP FICO configuration and solution design, supporting end-to-end implementations and enhancements, managing integration with related SAP modules, and driving issue resolution across finance process areas such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and profitability reporting. You will also contribute to testing, user training, documentation, and post-go-live support while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Requirements

• Senior-level SAP FICO experience with strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) within large enterprise ERP environments • Proven hands-on experience delivering end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or transformation programs • Strong configuration knowledge across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and internal controls • Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, PS, or other SAP modules to support cross-functional enterprise processes • Relevant SAP certification in SAP Financial Accounting, SAP S/4HANA Finance, or related SAP ERP finance specializations • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements, design functional solutions, prepare specifications, support testing, and manage stakeholder sign-off • Prior experience working with large GCC enterprises or regional transformation programs, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and cultural awareness • Ability to work effectively in a contract role, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and provide leadership to business users and project teams
